We need judges and volunteers for this year’s local competition.

It’s that time of the year once again as we get ready in high gear and in full preparation for the 26th annual NYC ACT-SO ‎”Olympics of the Mind” Local Competition on Saturday, April 16, from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The students have been working diligently on individual projects since the opening of school back in September and are looking forward to a rigorous day of competition.

Please plan to spend the entire day with us as we are anticipating a large number of contestants this year.

The host of the competition is Midwood High School at Brooklyn College, 2839  Bedford Avenue.  Easy access by subway – take the IRT #2 train to the last stop, exiting at Flatbush Avenue & Brooklyn College.

We are in need of judges in all the categories but especially in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Medicine & Health, and Physics.  Your help in our outreach efforts would be greatly appreciated.  Please send us the information for anyone who might be interested in being a judge.

‎We are asking that you confirm your attendance by calling Anton Tomlinson @ 917-541-3348. ‎

For our files, please send us a copy of your most recent resume by email at actsoinfo@actso.org or fill out our volunteer form.

We thank you and looking forward to seeing you on April 16.

Warmest regards,

Anton Tomlinson

Chairman
